I believe passionately in the importance of education and within that the key role that Maths plays. Not only are Maths qualifications vital but also the thinking skills that Maths develops are of great general value.
I have taught Mathematics for 32 years in a variety of Comprehensive Schools. 13 years as a Head of Department. I have taught children from a wide range of backgrounds and spread of abilities. I have prepared numerous students for their GCSE and A-levels, including the new 9 to 1 GCSE. I have always strived to enable students to reach their potential whatever their starting point and to help them value their education. I have a history of my students doing well in external exams.
As a school teacher I have been CRB and latterly DBS checked. I have attended several training sessions on the Safeguarding of Students.
Sean as a teacher is tenacious in ensuring students reach their potential grade.
